Missing the following pairings as options left a bad taste in mouth after looking through the current roster for GL OTP -

Yuu x Touko (Bloom Into You), Koyuki x Konatsu (A Tropical Fish Yearns for Snow), Ichika x Aria (Vampeerz), Himari x Asahi (Crescent Moon and Doughnuts), Himari x Sakura (Whispering You a Love Song), Haruko x Saki (Shimanami Tasogare), Malori x Velverosa (Mage and Demon Queen), Kase x Yamada (Kase-san), Sun x Qiu (Tamen de Gushi), etc.

I can understand why some great options might have been missed in the other categories considering some of the other great ones were indeed included instead in those cases, but for this category, I couldn’t wrap my head around the idea how all of the staff members might have missed the opportunity to nominate at least one of the above pairings. I tried to go through all of the current nominations to better understand how each and every staff might have nominated the specific GL OTP, but I couldn’t find the irresistible spark of the endearing pairs mentioned above - no offence meant towards the staffs at all, since everyone would have their own preferences; probably I was hoping too much in terms of my own paradigm and should try shifting my mindset a bit when retrying to get further into those stories. Yet, not seeing the names of at least one GL pair I already know or admire was a confusing shock.

I'd love to hear back from a staff. My primary question is this: Is there nobody among the staff who adores at least one of these pairs? If yes, I'd love to know why they prefer their chosen OTP over all the other possibilities.

By the way, Yuu x Touko is my absolute favorite pair. I like many other manga romances such as Chizuru x Arata (ReLife), Kusunoki x Miyagi (I sold my life...), etc., but Yuu x Touko is my favorite among all regardless of classification.

Tbh I think most of the options were pretty bad. I didn’t even know most of these options in the categories so I voted on whichever looked more appealing to me.

But whoever has Kurogane x Fai as an OTP, you’re the absolute best and it’s like no contest on that. 10/10 best ship.

You should have had Issei from Iyanakao Sarenagara Opantsu Misete Moraitai for the harem section considering how he has the best interaction with his harem mates and he's the most...unique...of the harem protangonists. @Teasday

Same. I'll be honest, I didn't like most of the options. (I skipped the yuri section because I don't like Yuri and for the Yaoi section I just choose the two boys that looked most adorable together)

And for the others it felt weird like the options they chose were too obscure or weird. There were some good ones, like best gyaru, which I can see being very contested, whereas the harem section felt lacking and none of the options I knew or cared for. @Antigone56 @dysperwithaperiod

Not all of us read gay stuff (you might notice the BL and GL categories have fewer options) and those of us that do only picked one

My quint Ichika is only for those of higher mind and will therefore lose, but they will only further reinforce my beliefs.

No Kazama from D-Frag in harem? Or Nozomu from Zetsubou Sensei? Disappointing.

Also should've had best gender bend couple as an option.
