Never had any fictional crush, or waifu, or oshi, or anything like that, but I'll tell you a funny story. About that one time I got out of my way to watch the wrong anime just because of the girls in it.

So I watched 2 or 3 episode of Eva by chance out of order when I was (I think I was) in grade school, and I thought the girls were fukin hot. So sexy. I don't remember where did I watch it, but after that I couldn't find the anime anywhere on TV. I lost them. But their sexy images stayed in the back of my head. I didn't even remember there were mechs there.

Then several years later, they aired the Bootleg Eva on TV, and at that time I genuinely thought it was the Eva. I was so excited, this was the anime I had been looking for for ages. It aired just right after my cram school hour, so I had to run home every week to not miss it.

Initially I did feel that it was kind of different from what I remembered, but I was just a kid.
The anime did have the "red" girl and the "white" girl, so whatever. I finished that anime, and overall I was satisfied.

Few years after that, I was in high school, and I finally got my hand on the Eva manga.
And I think that was the first time I experienced an existential crisis.
The manga was indeed called Evangelion, but it was different from what I remembered from the anime I watched, but similar to what I remembered before I watched that anime.
I was like "Fck, what anime did I watch back then? The girls here are way more sexier that that bootleg anime"

So, yeah, I guess that was the only time I was blinded by 2D girls

Cut me some slack, I watched the anime forever ago. I only mentioned it because I have to mention some waifu in a thread about fictional crushes. Characters that stick in my brain because of their attractiveness are few and far between. Also, I never remember names right and I hate spelling things wrong.
