Maybe im being a bit reductive here but you cant argue the point of "its a threat so we must get rid of it" and not be inherently making a hypocritical arguement. Lady you are a threat, you're a trained swordswoman and your loyalties lie with me because i pay you (arguing from the pov of the lord) so by your own logic because the dogs loyalties aren't perfectly assured then that means we have to get rid of it? Fuck off. Your sword could accidentally cut me if you neglect to take proper precautions, or it could be used by a dangerous individual, or you could go crazy and attack my family with it! So you're no longer allowed to carry a sword in my household. How does that sound? Should we continue removing possible sources of danger just bbecause they exist? The dog is not going because its not a "probable" source of danger. Its my daughters pet, and thats all i will discuss on the matter
