Maybe the slime will somehow fuse with the doll and making her able to take energy from regular food ?But, is that so? No alternative source? Or recharge? Or swapping with the new magic crystal?
He showed up in another teaser a few chapters ago, where he was just zapping his doll princess for fun. I don't think MC was replaced by him, he's just another summoned hero who's probably just here to show how evil some of the heroes are.Wait ... who's THIS arsehole? Maybe my brain blocked him out. Is he the one they replaced the MC with? Maybe I should read the story again.
Ahh, yeah, the slime, I miss that one...Maybe the slime will somehow fuse with the doll and making her able to take energy from regular food ?

In other news, my gutter brain has the perfect solution. Douse her with some 'holy' water and somehow make her a 'real' girl ... Hey if that guy in the other manga can use his 'water' to enslave girls then we can have a contrived plot device that will Pinocchio her. Please, don't EVER listen to my gutter brain. He's just here for entertainment ... maybe?
At least a smartphone's battery is rechargeable, allowing them to last a few years at minimum. These doll's magic crystal are more like those awful disposable vapes with lithium cells in them that can't be recharged without gutting the vape to get at the cells and then rewiring the cells to a charging port which isn't easy because the cells are often soldered in!That's a really dumb design for the doll princesses, the moment their batteries empty, they die?
What a waste of resources, though it's not like modern smartphones aren't designed like this. Removable batteries aren't really a thing anymore for those.
It was the high slime, that wanted to get a human form.I can’t remember for some reason but was that whole part about how a bunch of girls were put to sleep while bathing ever solved or was it just put to the side?
True, the MC has shown to grow attached to Nina, but with the only evidence we got from their relationship being the allotted time together and what we've seen so far in the present, there's not a lot for us to get invested in, not even a fraction in the degree of drama that Plastic Memories spurred in the anime (at least as far as I've heard, I've not seen it). It's good and all to want to add drama, but you dont build up the reader's attachement to a character wtith a handfull of chapter of nothingness...
Yes she will die, but so what? We barely saw them interact, she nearly never talk, they barely have any relastionship past the fact that she was given to him.
You should, it's totally worth it. It's been year since i last saw it but from memory the story was quite well done if a bit short.(at least as far as I've heard, I've not seen it).
