It really does feel like we're getting multiple different fully-fledged stories and elements stuffed into the same isekai and it suffers for it. Does this want to be "When Isekaied, I Didn't Kill the Slime, So It Returned Its Gratitude", "In Another World With My Robot Wife", "I Was a Faulty Hero, So I Hunted Quails For a Year", "I Have Suddenly Entered This New World, So I Will Create A Monster Girl Harem", or what? I personally prefer "In Another World With My Robot Wife"; I would have been into the monster girl premise without the slavery aspect.

Would that not depend on the time period and region of medieval europe we are talking about? Serfs took the roles of slaves for the regions and time periods they were used. Depending on how you look at it serfs were practically a form of slaves. Though correct me if im wrong.
it would depend but you made a broad generalization, so I stayed broad with mine: as Europe Christianized in the medieval period it became prohibited legally and socially to buy or sell other Christians so slavery increasingly declined from the classical period
