I find the "warning" more problematic than the chapter itself, although it was made with good intentions. For 99% of people, even queer people, its better to ask (specially when its clear theres real confusion) than to consider them "androgynous" by default. I dont see the characters identifying themselves as NB/trans anywhere in their dialogue. Why is the translator considering them NB/trans (hence the warning) by default just because their looks are non gender conforming? Again, I know there was good intention and I dont wanna start anything, just giving my two cents.

"Our neighbor is androgynous."

If this wasn't porn I'd send this to my friends and ask them to determine who's talking.

Why you gotta bring Western politics here 🙄
And as for being "transphobic", it's FAR from it and they're BOTH pretty androgynous anyway, and they're both probably yuri anyway since the author mainly does yuri scratch that, they do make some other stuff too, but since this series in particular is a yuri series, I'm leaning toward both of them being women even though it's kinda pointless to think about drawings 😛

While I don't agree with the trigger warning and transphobia claims, I appreciate the translations of these extra chapters, thanks.

EDIT: The fact is that the author is very pro LGBT (as far as I know) so it's not offensive to them. They also didn't need to put a trigger warning or some shit, and why it ticked me off a bit because only Westerners do that. Then of course someone starts calling other people "bigots" just because they don't agree with them and THAT'S why you should leave your Western politics outta here.
Western bullshit? You really think all this vast wealth of Yuri manga would exist without a thriving queer Japanese community?

Which, yes, includes trans people who think that people obsessing over their private parts is gross and invasive.

Honestly, assuming that Japan is too "pure" or some shit to be entirely ignorant of people you hate is some western bullshit.

There's also intersex people too because that's a biological thing which exists with any cultural context that has no room for people who can't clearly be defined as male or female.

Nobody is saying that Japanese lesbians don't exist, just that they aren't quite as mentally ill as the LGBTQ+BBQ and hot sauce crowd.

Reading comprehension my lad (or lass).

Like the guy above me said, I didn't say anything bad about yuri. What I meant is the trigger warning nonsense that the translator decided to add themselves without the input of the author. That is the political stupidity that came from Western bullshit I have a problem with. It's one thing if the author added it themselves, but they didn't, so it's the translator adding their own politics into someone else's work.

I also looooove when people bring up (physically) intersex people when they are the one of the sole exceptions when they are far FAR from the norm that they are statistically insignificant.

And kinda related, I also love that supposedly "scientific" organizations who decided to muddy the waters by people calling themselves intersex (when they're just bi) even if they have zero physical indications that they are intersex just to feel special.
