Wow, it has been that long huh. What an interesting ride, a bit bumpy at the middle part, but I'm glad it course-corrected into this satisfying end. Thank you for translating this series for the past year, Andy!

not the usual ending in a school setting like having a wedding time skip or something but this is still a great ending. closing all the loose ends of the characters even to tamayo. even so its upto us how the interpretation but it's really obvious that they will have that happy ending.

so nothing broke what will collapse for nao (maybe his loneliness?) as the title implied.

(the anime adaptation announcement is a surprise while the manga just ended is a really good timing)

its been a good ride and read (even though its been a good fight reading those early chapters, im glad i stick thru the end)

Satsuki looking gorgeous in that swimsuit. And that beautiful bright smile that you very rarely see on her.

Guess that's that. I will definitely miss this story. Or not, cause I will definitely watch the anime. Looong time since I started reading this.

Still wish we had a conclusion for the others. An omake, maybe?

Yeah it's overall a pretty decent ending, but man this manga lost a lot of steam for me when the yandere vibes weren't really followed up on at all, definitely feels like it was all just bait looking back

For real. It wasn't a bad series overall but Isihara ended up being kind of boring and it ended up being way less messy than I expected. Which is boring...

We finally made it.

I was actually expecting more drama and a messier story but it seems pretty tame on the later part of the manga.

Thanks translator team for bringing us to the end.

i didn't pick up this series since the author treated ishihara really poorly, and went for the cliche of first girl always win. and the boring relationship of satsuki with naoto stopped me from translating this manga
Ok, this wasn't a great series and the quality varied vastly between arcs but are you even talking about the same manga?
Ishihara was "the first girl". He loved her first. He was in relationship with her first. Satsuki was at first nothing more than forgotten childhood friend who liked to play naughty pranks on MC and tease him.
How the hell MC's relationship with Satsuki boring? It had some stupid moments but it was full of uncertainty and anxiety. It was a roller coaster compared to smooth-sailing he had with Ishihara (there was only some family drama). Satsuki pulled off a disappearing act once before, what if she repeats it again for some stupid, selfish reason? Even during the last scene in the train when she took a different seat I was afraid that she won't be there when MC wakes up... I'm just glad we had wholesome ending without some last chapter bullshit drama.

Honestly, I'm glad you didn't decide to translate it. I'd rather have mtl than work from somebody who hates material he's working with. It's not a great series but it's not trash either.

These comments are hilarious. The entire series was about abandonment and generational trauma, and about learning how to communicate and not run away.

You can still not like it for whatever reasons (there were some things I didn't like along the way too,) but the series was very consistent in its plot and character development with a positive message for people who deal with having, or knowing someone with, an avoidant personality.

Thanks a lot for bringing us to the end translator. This series is one of my oldest series and I have a lot of emotion when reading its last chapter. Thank you for the memories!

Haters gonna be hating man, I’ve seen similar comments on other of my works and guess what? I am still doing them because people is just talk and no action :kek:

This. People is too focused into the romance side. I like that Ishihara went from a likable character to a predictable character obsessed with Naoto while Satsuki went from unlikeable to someone who was just afraid to lose Naoto. Then there is Tamayo but that is a different topic.

woof, this didn't turn out how i liked. Satsuki's relationship was spicy at first but was very mild later and Yukari got totally fucked.
