I can't believe I'm the one saying it, as I am usually pretty chill about this stuff in comedic fantasy settings, but aren't the hero's actions a bit problematic? He locked her down, cut all of her ties with her friends and subordinates, he's controlling and domineering, he's clearly much more powerful than her and is easily able to suppress any escape or fight attempts... The fact that he's "doting" and "kind" and "infatuated" doesn't make it okay...

I think things are a bit past the point of "problematic". I'm still reading in the hopes that someone calls the "hero" out on his bullshit.

Hey Oliver, I think it might be better if you marry her. Stop scaring me and her.

@Inori I surprisingly "don't find it that disturbing" considering the fact that he is a hero. Maybe it's because I got too used to seeing heroes committing murder, intrusion, vandalism, theft, stripping, and robbery

This becomes "Eh sounds about right"

This is pretty much a hostage situation now that I think about it. Sure he's not being mean or cruel but this is just like someone kidnapping someone from outside the street and living with them, acting all nice but not letting them leave the place. Seems disturbing to me fluff aside. But considering that people would want her dead since demon king whole thing meh.

I don't know how I feel about this....

I mean, sure she's 200 yo, but it's said that she's only 15 in human years and sure looks the part. ML is like 25-ish yo.

This sure reminds me of Vladimir Nabokov's "Lolita" with all the young girl hostage-kidnapping-cohabitation part....

This feels like it's trying to get the readers to accept Stockholm Syndrome...

Though the Hero is also clearly happily aubmerged in Lima syndrome

@Eclat123 ML is 19, so there is not really a problem with the age gap, just with the kidnapping and keeping her against her will...
