Again, I find myself astonished at how condensed the manga is. It manages the broad strokes and key world building aspects perfectly, which is impressive, but there are definitely some missed moments that would have been cool to see visualized.

Neat way they handled it. In the LN he got a surprise hit in by sacrificing his arm to get a solid hit on her, since she didn't expect that he could swing his hammer with only one hand, only using two before, and he mentions he intentionally never picks a weapon he can't use with one hand. Was a fun show of skill and in depth knowledge

However, either the translation of that novel wasn't good, or otherwise the name picked makes no sense to me because I've been scratching my head for 471 chapters and still don't know why, if accurate, that's the name the town gave her.

I just read the second latest English translation of the WN, and it says this:

“Both Al and I were told to chase off any men who approach when we go out with Haruka.” (Montana said this)

“…I can chase them off myself, you know?”

“If you could, you wouldn’t have gotten the nickname ‘Witch of Indulgence.’”

I would also point out that Haruka has been slapped in the face (once) and accused of stealing another woman's man "thieving cat" two times (in regards to Ralph). Combined with her general beauty and association with a high ranking adventurer who is a lesbian who is known to play losse with the word consent, I think it's safe to say "indulgence" seems to mean she has the public appearance of indulging with many people (men and women) in a more earthly sense.

Or is there some other part of the story (or LN) that contradicts this and might override the WN?
