Thank you for translations!

Idk why this is drawing me in but all these repeated plot points and cliches manage to amuse me endlessly, no drugs required. :kek:

Man... what is with "evil" reincarnators being completely and totally inept at even partially mimicking the characters that endeared everyone to them?

idk if this is a strange thought but for once I'd like to see a "heroine" in a villainess manga that isn't a selfish and unredeemable jerk? I think there's potential for a story where the "heroine" gets a bit more nuance and development and maybe even some kind of happy ending (that maybe isn't what she originally wanted, but)

To clarify: by this I mean someone who still fits the usual archetype of being a reincarnator who finds themselves utterly lost by the fact that their love interests aren't responding the same way. I think there's a lot of potential in the idea that they too can come to terms with their own situation and find some happiness themselves without being forced into this losing heroine role

For the first few chapters of this manga it just felt like the "heroine" character was lost and not necessarily malicious? But obviously that's not true because like, for some reason all manga about "villainesses" not having to be "villainesses" has to have its own villainess archetype so that character obviously has to be an unsympathetic and one-dimensional asshole. Kinda ironic tbh

(edit: come to think of this MagiRevo has a pretty sympathetic "heroine" character. Not exactly what I outlined above, but still hits some of the same notes)

There's a novel I can recommend, the heroine isn't the villain but there is still someone who fills the evil reincarnator role. To be fair the main character isn't the Villainess but the Villainess is the main character's love interest. It's called "The Mellow and Mysterious Life of an Exiled Villainess and a Reincarnated Baron (Happy Marriage)"
