I really wanted Nene and Sumika as a ship, but damn each chapter Sumika makes me like her less and less.

Nene is by far my favorite character in this works and I hope she will find happiness with Sumika or someone else ( and god noooooo please noooooo Youko ).

Sumika x nene is much better than Amamiya x Sumika. tbh, there is almost nothing to like about Amamiya, and it’s annoying how much the author is forcing her whereas nene is just a much better character

I thought Nene’s crush would be a pretty big deal but it’s nice to see that their friendship was even greater. They are at the very least the most well adjusted characters in this story.

Dayum, Kanoko is gonna start some huge drama but this time those two aren’t alone anymore and may be able to see through Youko’s plot

It’s very likely that youko is advising kanoko to have a fake relationship with Sumika. Youko is almost psychotic or lacks empathy. She gets off seeing people struggle in their relationships. So even though Sumika is fine right now with how things are, she’ll come to regret it.

it's not a ship, that fake relationship will eventually crumble.

what's interesting to me is that Sumika does effect Kanoko a bit, so there's a chance she could fall for Sumika for real. Of course knowing this author, she'll only realize it after she's destroyed everything with Sumika beyond repair.
Sumika is getting too much of the short end there though, which makes me wonder if there's a chance Nene might get a second chance.

but that seems to be the theme of this series though lol
