They put a wet sponge on your head. It's so that the current goes straight through their brain killing them fast. Otherwise It takes a long time as they go into cardiac arrest, convulse and their bodies burn leaving a foul smell. Which is not a nice spectacle

The oddest part is that Japan doesn’t use the electricity chair for their capital punishment. They use hanging but I expect because they don’t go for the spectacle approach that they US goes with, the exact way of dispatching their death row inmates is probably left as a big mystery to the general population.

Lethal injections are most commonly used in the US. Also it has nothing to due with spectle. Electric chairs were thought to be more humane and lead to fewer botched drawn out deaths than hangings.

Ayyy Finally another chapter! Thanks for translating :win: .

Secret is getting harder to contain. Will be honest, since it has been so long, I had to look at the RAW and I am going to be dying to see the next two translated chapters (only 17 is out) so can't wait for the next 4 months probably.

So some interesting thoughts ive had on re-read.

- Mao consistently is ambiguous about what has her in a twist about Mino and Yuuki getting together. At some points she seems sad Mino would be taken away, but at other points it seems to be that she's sad Yuuki is falling for someone else. Notably the lines "I knew this day would come eventually" and "If it's with Mino then..." in chapter 12. Her lines in chapter 13 are also ominous, mentioning "Don't end up like me" in regards to Mino's feelings for Yuuki.

-Mino's has some secrets of her own. Besides the bullying in her past and her mom, she seems to have had a close relationship with the girl seen in flashbacks in Chaper 3 and chapter 14 page 10. It seems her words caused her to change schools and stop hiding her hair color, but why does she no longer keep in contact?

-Potentially interesting foreshadowing: The last thing Mino thought of before getting SCD was wishing she had interests in common with Yuuki. The obvious connection is her change into male like him, but could it be a sneaky call-forward towards his interest with girls and Mao in particular? Notably the extreme sexual arousal associated with SCD normally only lasts a week.

Yuuki's a big ball of trauma and mystery. Especially his past with Mao. In chapter 3 he states that they will never be in a relationship. Self-denial or hard-learned lesson? He also is noticably apologetic after learning that Mino has SCD at the park. Was he feeling more empathetic with a SCD peer? Or was he thinking about commiting some level of violence and apologizing for that?
