what the heck this manga artist cooking, the reason MC and Risa save Satsuki because in the original story Satsuki was supposed to be dropped out from the school after being depressed.
It’s probably just that while dropping out isn’t a ”good ending“ for the character personally, it’s a “good ending” in that she doesn’t become evil, or die, or become a prostitut, or anything that we the audience & the players would truly consider bad.

I believe he's deliberately not eating. But judging from Kaoru needing to shower it probably hasn't even been a day

I bet he will return back to his Big Chungus self at the party when they start placing a bunch of food in front of him. The real question when he does revert back, will his clothes auto resize and still magically fit or will he burst out like when Mr Banner Hulks up? But I got to wonder how many calories did he burn when fighting the Lv 20 Boss if he hasn't recovered in 2 days.

the translation is awful,
It's clearer in this chapter but I wonder how much this has affected understanding of other parts. It seems to be machine aided which is fine but we might've lost clarity on a few things over time. Ah well, they started dropping chapters the second someone else appeared so competition isn't likely.

They chapter shows the strange interaction between MAV/Souta and Kaoru, but left a lot unexplained. Kaoru is used to the cringey perv stalker Souta from the game, but he's been very respectful since the school year started. She's starting to look closer at him to see what has changed. The events of the class competition are too much for her to ignore. How did he win deepest floor/best gem, why is he skinny?!, Why is he not creeping on her like he used to? She's both curious and wary because he's clearly hiding something. Souta has an "inner piggy" who madly loves Kaoru, but Mav is suppressing it. He's torn between letting piggy out and revealing his secrets to Kaoru, and keeping the plot on line and letting her go. This contributes to their weird tension.
Yes, i read the chapter, thank you.
There's also an important detail from the LN the manga left out. Spoil at your own pleasure.
Souta was cleaning up before Kaoru showed up. Before his bath, he put the dungeon laundry out to dry. That includes Kano's dungeon equipment. Before Kaoru leaves she sees the mask Kano was wearing and puts together who their mysterious helper was. We can assume she's realizing Souta is hiding way more than a personality change.
Literally doesn't affect my point.
Souta's strict desire to stick to the game's storyline is one of the more contentious parts of the story. On one hand, he believes that using the story is valuable foreknowledge for his (and his family's) survival. This is true to some extent. But on the other hand, the longer he and the other players exist in the world the more little changes start to add up. At some point story events will be different enough that his predictions won't be useful. Souta is like an unreliable narrator where his first-person POV is allowed to be wrong. That kind of flawed MC adds tension, and invites us to scream "WHAT ARE YA DOING STUPID?"
Here’s where you’re wrong. I’m not complaining about the existence of the cliche of the game reincarnator sticking to the plot of the OG game. I’m complaining that this doesn’t make sense in the context of where our MC finds himself. He knows there are other reincarnators, and more importantly, he knows they have already affected the story. But for some incomprehensible reason (possibly the author not understanding how this cliché works), the MC is still trying to stick to the original story. Because of this, it doesn’t come off as the character being too close-minded to the idea that the story of the OG game can change; instead, it comes off as the MC being a braindead individual who just cannot think at all (which is actually supported by a few other parts of this shithole of a story).

From the start i hated that fat fuck inside of him interfering with his thought process. Only reason for him to even consider Kaoru side of things is due to him. He knows she will be ok even if left alone but still can't ignore her entirely.

I think that the author plans to have some sort of event that will force the MC to change his thinking because so far all his plans were a failure only for it to succeed due to the other heroine's interference.
Kano managed to save his classmates from being raped literally. (He was against her interfering on the exams).
and Tenma put the boss magic stone on Souta's tab allowing Class E to win over Class D thus preventing his classmates and Kaoru from being dropouts.

Yes, that is most likely what the author wants to do. But there’s a small problem: Kariya's event exists, and our MC should already be aware of diverging from the original story. As it stands now, however, our MC is just retarded(Yes, the excuse given in the chapter 15 literally makes no sense at all).

I think the explanation in the manga wasn't good, or maybe the translation.
Akagi winning or losing doesn't change the story and also the outcome of the class competition either.
MC is retarded because he criticizes Tsukishima for treating the people around him as NPC's while he does the same, he ignores the feelings of his classmates and even Kaoru while just looking at the story.
His defeat to that slime while being part of the story, caused a lot of trouble to his classmates who also became a laughingstock, and he never made any moves to undo those rumors or even show his classmates he was working hard.
As it stands, in the system, he's still the weakest student of his class.

I feel this chapter should have been a tad bit longer. Like... it feels like it's missing something from it. It kind of hinders it. Which is funny, because the pre-class battle, it was taking too long. But, these are supposed to be two of the "main characters" in this story, right? Souta being one of the POVs, and Kaoru being the other. Her starting to suspect him should feel more impactful. It feels like they kind of glance over that specific part of the story.

Honestly, there seems to be a good story in this manga, but it isn't executed well, so the story suffers because of it.

At some point it becomes a legit retarded notion trying to keep the story intact instead of it adding tentsion. It has become a legit case of bad writing in terms of MC's motivations because even after some over the top shit happen due to other players (like Tsukishima challenging the entire student body including the council to dominate them and create a harem. You would think after that event, all bets would be off but no) he still insist on doing the absolute minimum to somehow keep the status quo which is literally none existant at that point.
