Welp, so far we seem to have mistaken "ethics" for just regular old Philosophy. I'll give it another 2-3 chapters to see if this series isn't just pretending to be smart, but I somehow doubt that this GTO clone is going to actually teach real ethics that you couldn't gain through just living your own life.

I think the point is to teach ethics you can gain through just living your own life... Because it's aimed towards teenagers.
