no talents, no dreams, nothing I want to do passionately. I'm a very ordinary person
huh well he was going to be special if he got isekai'd by that truck. Also that line feels like me describing myself. My only "talent" is doing good in school so far. Having no dreams, nor anything to be passionate about also hits extra hard. Pretty relatable chapter I guess but definitely not walking into a truck.

An interesting subject, but I never understood the common manga trope of "no talents, no dreams, nothing I want to do passionately. I'm a very ordinary person". There are loads of manga characters who claim this, but dude, if that's how you think of yourself, you're not ordinary, you're getting dangerously close to depression, in my opinion. Although Takayanagi does not agree with me, apparently.
As someone who thinks this, I am NOT depressed, and I do NOT want to stand out a single bit.
It’s normal to think “I’m not that special” or “there’s always bigger fish out there, don’t be too confident”

What you describe and the manga trope I mentioned seem like two related, but separate topics. Humility can be a virtue. But saying something like "I have no talents" is not the same as the reasonable claim that "I'm probably not the world's best at what I do". Not everyone is going to win the world cup, but everyone is at least decent at something.

Ah, I see.
If I think in the guy’s point of view I can see why he was feeling depressed, but our ways of thinking are different as two separate people, I hate standing out, yet I continue to sing, I like quietness but I continue to be loud, I contradict myself a lot, which I can see why he walked into the sidewalk but I dislike pain too much to do anything like that, Thank you for the knowledge!
