Wow it's been so damn long. I almost completely forgot about it. Used to be my absolute favorite manga 3 months ago. Thanks so much for the translation.

Wow, I have to give the author some serious props for Juda's character. Starts off wanting to rape the kid, then ends up helping him out. That guy's git some really complex shit going on, I can't tell if I feel repulsed or fascinated by him (probably both, with a bit more of the former).

although this series touches upon dark, fucked up stuff like any other psychological manga, it's reassuring to see a "light" like mr takayanagi

I'm so happy to see this back!! I really miss it. Thank you for the update. It's worth the wait. Really great chapter, full of emotions and (painful) expressions. Interesting conversation with a morally wrong character, need more of that.

I just love the fact that Kawamura is actually a sophisticated person who can talk about ethics with Takayana-sensei as an equal, Sensei even agreed with some things he said. And although he said that he hates every ethical thing, I believe he saved more than just one girl's life.

Agreed. I like that as well, even though he just appeared, he feels so fleshed out already.

It's been a while so I have to re-read to remember the details, but, Takayanagi sure shows more and more weakness as time goes on. And it's pretty damn good. He isn't perfect.I want to hug him... ;w;

The girl can't make a family and can't find someone to love. She can't find true happiness neither. Is her life even a life? He should take her away from that dark life, even with force (calling the police) and hope that she find happiness in the future.

@Akikako But she had already tried to live in the light, and that made her even more unhappy. Unhappy enough to be suicidal in fact. So if in both worlds she will suffers, might as well pick the dark one where at least she suffers less.

@TwoCranes I don't think she get in drugs or in prostitution to "suffers less", the ones that get in these situations wants to suffer this much to stop to worry about their self.

The conversation between the teacher and the criminal guy was lame and forced, even moreso than previous chapters. Dropped.

Dumb chapter. "She's alive because of that evil."... The author comes across as implying that the schoolgirl would definitely have commited suicide if she wasn't seduced by the man. Irl. it would probably play out more like this: Full-Grown-Man-Creep seduces homeless/suicidal girl/boy with problems > Gets her/him on drugs > Prostitutes her/him so she or he can afford more drugs > Death?

I'm pretty sure this manga's made for adults. And adults will sometimes have much weirder conversations when there are no kids around. I don't think it seems forced at all.

Yes, the conversation between Takayanagi and Juda was weird... but given two adults with a philosophic bent, and having had similar conversations myself before, yeah it's plausible.
