@kryokori While that statistic IS true, you also must look at the common causes of death for men and women. Men usually die from doing stupid stuff while more women die from health problems...I think? (Well, that statistic was for my own country so I'm not really sure about the rest of the world.)
Anyway, that basically means that it's not really a fixed case. Swap all the men in the world to women's bodies and all the women in the world to men's bodies and the statistics will follow. lol

@zenyo @MaNoChan Women can still give birth into their 70s and sometimes 80s, that whole "biological clock is ticking" stuff is a myth, and the chances of deformation/disabilities and stuff, increases from 0.5% to 1%, though people will say it doubles to scare you.
@Walter_vi_Britannia I'm pretty sure that men do die more from stupid shit much more often than women, but men also tend to die from underlying medical conditions as statistically, most men don't go to the doctor for periods of up to years at a time. Not having meaningful friendships or relationships also appears to have a negative impact on men's health as statistically men avoid closer relations because of social pressures, and loneliness can cause health issues. Though when lots of men die at 20-30 years old because they wanted to take a selfie at the edge of a cliff with a 80 foot drop, or something equally stupid, the life expectancy for all men goes down.

women immune system is better overall so men have much more probability to suffer some aliment than them while old
men tend to have much more heart attacks than women, they bear stress and social pressure much worse than women do
probably it's mostly due to different mentality of both genders, where men tend to focus on work related stuff and not share their problems, emotions as often as women do, and women focus often much more on family (here sometimes people joke that grannies live long to cook for their grandchildren)
