You forget to mention that, Eve was originally the owner of the Slave Contract skill, and that guy basically in a way took the skill from her, because she trusted him. In a way, that guy was always Eve's slave.
Also, she doesn't really go back to him, but rather goes to get control of him, making him basically a puppet following her orders.

This was such a cute set of chapters, that I want to rank this series higher. But with that self-entitled piece of shit looming in the background, no doubt ready to try and nab Marie again, I can't stomach the idea of putting this series higher than a 5, and I'm struggling to justify that ranking because of that bastard's presence. So he better die sooner than later.

On page 4, it says

No way, not Wridra of all people…

This seems off. They’re wondering if Wridra is not scared of horror themes but then say “no way”. That is, she is scared of horror. However, the flow of the panels don’t reflect this.

Is the “…is unfazed with horror?” part accurate? To follow what’s going on, it seems like it should be saying something like “is scared of horror“/“is bad with horror” or something similar.

You do so much at an amusement park that if you never pick something yourself, it's a bit weird.

So her ears suddenly jumped in front of the hair just because the braid was undone. It's not how hair works. And probably not how elf ears work, but I have little experience with that.

Yeah, if it looks like a costume, it's fine.

Unexpected Jump scares generally still work on everyone.

Probably because back in prehistory people who didn't react to jump scares had a higher chance of dying.
