as far as i know , still no "notification function for when my manga chapters are updated" yet , but you can click your "follows" button , or this link : https://mangadex.org/follows , to check new chapters in a daily interval , or maybe even a hourly interval , lol .

Hey guys! Just finished up migrating my manga from MangaRock to here.

Btw, is "Stand Up!" manhwa by warren in here? I can't seem to find it. It's the only manwha that I was unable to find. Others I can find through google +MangaDex keyword. Kinda weird that manwhas doesn't show up when you search it by the search bar on MangaDex, but it shows up on google if I search it along with MangaDex at the end. I am completely new here, so if I am missing something, please let me know. Thank you, and I look forward to having fun with you guys!

You need to turn on your hentai filter for MangaDex, lol. Look at chapter 2 of the tutorial manga to find out how. https://mangadex.org/title/17755/brawling-go

@Maestra No plans to go open source, we might get another dev specifically for the PWA. But it won't be able to happen until after much of the site's code is rewritten using frameworks.

i am glad that i've migrated from Manga Rock earlier before such 'shut down' plan happened,
I don't like how they keep saying "Scanlations are bad" so much when they still make lot of profit by stealing scanlations works.

Better explanation yeah. Either way the site has been...clunky ever since. If nothing else, manga is still getting updated. But of late it's been a heavy trend towards Korean webcomics and chinese rip off webcomics rather than manga like I'm used to. Oh well times are a changing. We seriously thought we were gonna lose bato entirely but it sticking around is still nice.

Funny enough if you try to access it through a Japanese IP address you get the message that the site has been shut down. Done apparently to satisfy Japanese users who complained about bato.

@Gambierbay We did lose Batoto entirely. They shut down and MangaPark bought the domain name from them. There was nothing retained from the old Batoto except the site name. The real old Batoto is hosted on http://vatoto.com/ so that people can continue to export their follows. MangaDex formed as a result of Batoto's death.
