I never checked their forum, from trackers I think I only created an account on Anilist and mostly to be able to see the hidden titles (hentai or close to) and keep a backlog online for anime. I barely used the forum in all the years I'm there, but both from comments and reviews the level is quite low. Of course you may find unsavoury ones (hate and ad hominem basically), what I find concerning though is that even mods are dim-witted so sometimes I think I am in a site for people with special needs. Here at least there's a little of everything and all the staff is competent.

I like y'all because it's a second person plural pronoun that fits with the other pronouns. "I", "you", "he", "we", and "they" are all monosyllabic, but "you all" is a disgusting two words long.

To be honest the state of the forum rn sucks but that's coming from someone that survived the v3 era (honestly I don't know how I survived from the sex bots to the weekly 502s politics thread scanlators making a big fuss about leaving every other month and the whole gfg present it's a miracle I'm still kicking)

So I'm gonna be honest I like it for the most part, seeing people regularly show up is kinda fun since I usually lurk here. But then I see the odd politically driven post like "We should tag X thing here because some people might get triggered" while I sit here thinking "Buddy the tags we got work fine for that." sometimes it feels they just jumped from reddit and it's hard to talk with these people even while trying to be friendly.
Other than that it's always chill to see people like BigTiddyOneesan running rampant demonstrating that they are the true rulers of this site.

The tagging mania/disorder is universal right now, there are too many people without reading comprehension and normies everywhere, in sites where there are more tags or everyone can suggest tag changes (I'm not looking at you Dynasty) it's even worse. But indeed, this has also infected scanlation groups so they show up the same issues than those users, I remember more than one leader group with parental syndrome because nowadays everyone gets offended/insulted because of existing. And since you're mentioning Reddit... that's precisely one of the sites that due changes of policy has caused massive migrations to forums like this.
