Why there is an affiliate NamiComi on the website ?

There was an earlier iteration of the (Settings → Experiments) that linked to https://mangadex.org/for-creators where you can get a gist of it, basically, the staff likes what they're doing and are willing to advertise them in a way, outside of the whole external url thing

Similar to how we link to publishers when we believe that they’re genuinely trying to do the right thing
