the main relationship in volume 5 is actually so peak and the sociology inserts makes the plot pretty interesting since its not a topic these stories tap into often (which i think is a shame) but the story is pretty convoluted at points and some of the interactions just don’t really make sense. despite that so far the quality of everything gets better the more you read so its actually pretty good imo

All over the place. Translation, plot, the characters.
35 chapters in and the brother mentally remarks on "getting LGBT literature unbanned" being the first steps towards change. I've no clue if it's the translation or not but I wish people didn't keep lumping us together. I came to read a nice story on a couple making their way through a time where the system openly disregarded their love, not a trite attempt at spreading The Message.

It's a good story. 8.5/10. The story does a great job of making you hate a character, then like them, then hate them again. I respect that.

At first I thought the protagonist(Blue hair) was so cool and different. But then she ends up being one of the most annoying characters... I can understand the first time she tries to end the relationship... But then by the second or third time it gets a little tiring, it feels like that toxic relationship where they keep doing tests/jokes about breaking up.

And oh my god, I hated the red-haired girl. I think she must be the worst character from the story, and I feel so sorry for the girl who ended up with her. I mean, she forced an argument to happen so that girl would stop liking the boy, that's fine. But then she lets it happen and basically creates a whole situation where she is harassed and attacked by some men, is forced to flee, and in the end has no choice but to kill the guy... And all this for what? To force her to stop liking men. And you think she cares about the trauma? No, she basically uses the situation to exploit the girl even more and harass her even more, just like she's been doing from the beginning... I genuinely thought her sister would get involved and help, reconnect them... Unfortunately, she only ended up with the girl... It's actually quite crazy that the girl who's a walking LGBT agenda, who writes books of perfect utopias and happy endings, is also the most cold-blooded and heartless character in the story. Oh, and the princess from the other country, who is also the brother of one of the protagonists, is actually kind of irrelevant to the plot.

But anyway, it's a good story, the protagonist's(Bully) development is very complete, It's hard to see that around here. Honestly, I almost dropped the series at the beginning because I couldn't accept that bully would be the protagonist... Little did I know that I would be the best character.

Its a decent manhau to be sure, I quite like Hesha's arc even if it felt a bit rushed at times, and the main couple is cute once you get past the toxic intro.

But holy shit I agree with the other comments here about the redhead Irene, she's like a homophobic caricature of a lesbian come to life.

This entire post is a massive rant that I have and is slightly spoil worthy.

I really think this story is good, but it really just circles around the specific idea of "yeah go same-sex". It ain't terrible dont get me wrong, and I love me a good yuri/yaoi but other than the main characters everyone else sucks. As well as the world building, since it revolves around two plot points nobles/ppl. in power = bad or evil and same-sex marriage should be allowed, but it isnt because of _____. Not only that but some aspects of the story feel rushed or not fully fleshed out. Take a look at the beginning and the current state (ch.77), and it isnt terrible but we have three plot points that are really similar.
Plot a. Mc and Other Mc (lovers who want to see the world at their own pace)
Plot b. Other Mc sister who is annoying and female character who is terrible person
Plog c. Lastly other country fmc that thinks power is above all and another fmc who in all reality was a throwaway until now.
The entire princess situation vaguely involved the first pair, traumatized the second, and the third is still a ass-hat because she sorta pishes the narrative of "hey same-sex stuff is on the table (sorta)". But each one all drive the narrative of yes go lesbian couple or soon to be one. Which is great for the first pair, but the others are just nailing the coffin that "oh we all should strive for a same-sex marriage because the story says so". I genuinely believe that the Fmc brother will never show up again unless they require him to push the "hey it isnt wrong for people of the same gender to marry one another, as i myself found a guy i like".
I dont hate stories like this and, I honestly love the first pair. However with nonsense like current arc (ch.70-77) it just feels rushed. And anyone who isnt the main relationship feels like a 90-180° flip. Because its locked in this narrative loop of "hey , there is _ issue and only _____ of same gender can help resolve this issue because ______ has the skills/looks/is the only one who is required to resolve ______".
