she’s been spending more time being a manager now than a girlfriend, and she’s wanna continue that. Hopefully it won’t go full drama yet, give us some more fluff before descending down into the next situation.
I for one really hope this finally backfires for Himari and there is some repercussions- being a neglectful girlfriend with all the wrong priorities for a while now (this arc DRAGGED ON) should not just be shoved aside and laughed off. Yori went along with way too many selfish requests that hurt her. This feels like Yamada to Kase for a while now and Yamada to Kase has been absolutely terrible since its extension.

Might also just be me wanting Himari be a part of the relationship again, she just feels like some rando admirer with a whole different mental that is content with watching her favoriteS (Yori doesn't seem to be #1 anymore) from afar. Would be nice to see her supporting Yori again..? Or reacting to her? Idk it just feels like she is in a relationship with these girls that coerced her into being their manager and now full on stockholm syndromes it.

Oh no! She brought another girl to their first date in a while. I am curious on where this could be going.
"I'm sorry I hated you because the girl I like liked you. That was unfair of me. Can I keep my manager without you being weird and jealous?"
This seems totally possible, but I feel like there is going to be more to it than just asking if she can stay the manager. I think Himari is cooking up something spicy and I’m super excited.

Ffs I thought we was finally done with those annoying drama seeking side characters and would then 100% focus on our MCs again now, but apparently nope, we for some reason still have to focus on those side characters…🤦🏼‍♂️

Also Himari is now competing with Kase about being the worst GFs in any GL series. Himari clearly cares more about being a manager and about Shiho than she cares about her actual GF which this chapter proved once again…

I feel like she's going to try to combine the two bands in some way, so we can keep on having that annoying woman on the scene forever. In the end it would probably shrink down, leaving mostly the GF with her amazing voice plus the musicians from the rival band with their more professional musicianship. I'm not particularly happy about this development, but I guess I've become resigned.

Oh god don’t mention Yamada to Kase, it makes me assume this will drag on into more bullshit that could be solved in a single conversation.
Honestly this manga has taken a whole other turn after they finally got together and changed main couple and added all this drama. I miss the feeling the early chapters had.

I keep feeling like every social "thing" that Himari is trying is just weird. Like she doesn't know how social structures work and is just trying to impose her own ideas on them.

And unless she is aiming to be a professional manager, I don't see how her staying as a manager of an aspiring professional band has any future. This is a full-time gig, not something you do as a first-year HS student, who is supposed to be buzzing with her first love and trying to build an actual relationship with her - still new - girlfriend, before said girlfriend graduates, and possibly moves to the other side of the country.

I love the first arc of this manga, and re-read it regularly, which is something I almost never do. But I really can't feel good about those later chapters, where the main couple is not only pushed to the second plan but also doesn't really feel like a couple at all...
