"We're sisters and she already has a lover" "But you'll never know for sure unless you ask, right?"
Extremely bold words to say to your crush. Good that Miki decided to give up on that and not do as Aya suggested.

Though on that note, I feel like there aren't any yuri manga that have someone confess to their sister and get rejected and then deal with the repercussions of how that might affect them going further, like Sorry But I'm Not Into Yuri and School Zone both have sisters getting rejected, but don't really dwell on anyone dealing with the knowledge of their sibling liking them in that way, and I struggle to think of others.

All the Aya glazing completely forgets that she suggested Miki to confess to her sister lol. It wasn't Aya that saved us from the incest plotline, it was Miki because she was content to just hold it in and trying to move on. What Aya did was save Miki from the loneliness of doing it all by herself.

Like others, I do also hope we can move past this and hopefully just explore how Miki's feelings for Aya evolve. I think that would be more interesting.

Yay a possible ending to the incest pilot line.???? Anywho.! I think the next parent pilot line might just put the Miki and on pause then continue it afterwards once the yori, show himari her parent

I kept coping that the author just meant she's jelous that she'll have less time with her sister...

Why did you do this author? This added nothing to the story. It could have been something interesting like coming to terms with siblings going in different directions IE you live in seperate places and have less time to hang out and how that is kind of sad in a way.

Incest love is not interesting in this story. It was just cringe the whole time....

Miki is getting her girlfriend, wrapping her arc up. I think we're in for HajiMomo after Himari visits Yori's parents.

HIMARI IS GONNA MEET YORI'S PARENTS! I NEED TO SEE THAT RIGHT NOW!

I also really need to see HajiMomo getting together, but the more (yuri couples, especially height gap yuri couples) the merrier.

Thanks for the translation!

The “we don’t get to choose who we love” thing kinda completely goes out the window when you remember they’re not real people with real feelings, this storyline is just entirely the product of a writer who is dragging the plot on with shallow conflicts for zero reason therefore none of it feels like it has enough depth or care that should go into a story of unhealthy incestuous attachments and the guilt someone may have for feeling that way. Plus it’s just been a complete chore to get through because even if it wasn’t incest and they weren’t related at all, I think having yet another character into Aki would have still annoyed people because we thought we were done with drama surrounding her and her relationship so why haven’t we moved passed it yet? Who genuinely wanted to see it go on for this long? It was just a random addition to the story that wasn’t developed properly and extends on the tiresome relationship drama we could have moved past ages ago.
"They are not real people with real feelings" So what ?
Once you take on that point of view nothing matters within the story, including the incest because they aren't real people with real families. Stories. especially romance stories, try to imitate actual emotions because when they don't they feel extra fake and empty.
"We thought we were done with the drama surrounding her and moved forward" , why would you ever think that ? this series has been focused around drama, mostly surrounding Aki, for over 50 chapters. We get fluff chapters here and there but the drama is the focus of this series and it is the PLOT, there is no reason to think the series will suddenly change because Aki and Shiho got together, especially since it didn't after the main couple got together and straight out started a new drama arc after they did.

For this manga I'm not a fan of this incest plotline, also i don't like how we keep jumping between couples i wish we would get a few chapters of one couples then move on. Also i miss the band aspect of the story

The problem is precisely that this plot feels fake and empty, so when I say they're not real people with real feelings it's because that's all they feel like. I'm not even remotely moved by miki here because she's written so one-dimensionally that acting like I should sympathize with her because "you can't help who you love" is laughable when miki was just a side character hardly anyone cared about til now and the story made no attempt at trying to make us care about her before this. like I said, this plot and miki's feelings do not feel properly developed whatsoever, it's just drama for the sake of it tacked on to the story with zero depth or care. I'm sick of incest storylines randomly popping up in manga but at the very least if miki was fleshed out as a character, if her guilt towards her feelings about aki had been more explored from the jump, if this were something that was built upon throughout the story instead of being introduced out of the blue to solely cause more conflict, I may have at least found this sort of plot interesting with the way it approaches unhealthy incestuous attachments rather than just playing it off as a gag like so many other manga do. The reason I hate this plot so much isn't because I have a knee-jerk reaction to hating incest because as much as I do hate it, I can still enjoy a story when it covers topics that i dislike as long as they do it in an interesting and meaningful way, which sasakoi has absolutely failed at doing. This is a boring, nothing plot wasted on boring, nothing characters and the worst part is that the mangaka seems to be aware of this given the lack of effort put into making it better.

I TOLD YALL SHE WAS IN LOVE WITH HER SISTER YALL SAID NOOOOO. YALL gave me 🤔😡👎🏿❌ under my comment LOOK WHO TF is RIGHT. Now I do like incest manga some times but for this manga HELL NO. There is too much going on in the manga. Too many people/relationships. Every chapter one of us is saying who is this person again, why she likes her again, what happened? Like that’s when you know the author is doing to much. This manga would be good if they stick the two main couples. Not everybody in this manga need to be in a relationship damn
And a tendency towards same-face syndrome doesn't help. Don't get me wrong, the art is lovely, but the character designs aren't that varied.

I don't get the hate for this plotline , it explores dealing with an unhealthy attachment in a fairly healthy way, Miki never confesses or makes any moves on her sister, she never seemed to have any intention to act on it and is just heartbroken from her getting together with Shiho. We don't really get to choose who we love, especially when its someone she can't really avoid interacting with. Even if you can't control feelings, you can still control your actions, so its never wrong to feel a certain way even if it might be wrong to act on it.
It’s definitely wrong to feel romantic feelings for a family member lmao wtf are we talking about.

If the author could write a good death into the story would you justify its existence since it’ll show a healthy way to deal with losing a loved one(something most readers are likely going to need to experience way more than relating to something like incest)

just because you can get a good lesson out of it doesn’t mean it needs to exist in a story, an incest side plot is just not something people are really crazy to see, idk why that’s so hard for you to get

Aside from my general answer being a wholehearted yes, isn't that already kind of a thing with Kyou?
