Nah this happens in movies all the time and most audiences think it's romantic. I doubt she's about to recite war and peace up there.

In the grand tradition of manga characters being indirect with their feelings, I'm confident she'll say something vague and full of platitudes that will somehow end up in Shiho crying.

It's such a crapshoot whether you get good songs (Bocchi the Rock) or generic pop rock nonsense (Seishun songs that Bocchi hates). Here's rooting for the next BtR.

It's not like the whole conflict between them can be resolved by the end of this Arc. Even if they become friends again and start to hang out like before, Shiho loves Aki and Aki is now aware of that.
I hope the author continue to develop their relationship, even if they are not the main focus this time (similar to what happened with Hime and Yori in the current Arc).

Sales are great and there's an anime coming, so in theory the author should be able to take as much time as they need to do whatever they want with the series.
