The story right now is very different from the novel. I think spoon decided to use the alternate story from the novel which is not a part of the original story maybe just to spice things up because the original novel's story was really easy from my perspective.

As a reader (us) we just know that The korean girl transmitted as Athy. So basically like an isekai story.

But this chapter tell us that
Original Athy = 1st life
Korean Girl = 2nd life
Athy = 3rd life

So all this time we are with the original Athy (first life)
