Is there a demon lord/lady?
If so how strong are they?
Do they regularly invade the world?
Are their armies powerful?
Are there large divisions between the kingdoms?
What about sedition?
Are other countries subverting each other?
What about currency and currency exchange?
Is there inflation in some and others?
What about races/species?
Are there default stats, advantages and disadvantages to certain races?
What about languages?
Is it auto-translated or do you have to learn the languages yourself?
What about racism?
Are humans hated?
are they discriminated against?
Are they slaves?
What are the big baddies?
Are there multiple?
What about rogue gods that are against you or humanity?
Is there a balance to the magic system?
What about psychic power or reality warping (Different power from magic)?

As another person pointed out, what about disease and technology?
Do you require an outside power to use magic or other abilities?
If so, what are the drawbacks?
How hard is it to get a job in the new country you enter?
What about transportation?

the truth of the matter is, isekai is pure escapism fantasy. every loser high-schooler can have their own harem apparently if they just go to another world where pretty women will just jump on their 2 inch dick because..."they're kind" or something.

Sure but my power must be: Programmable time control. I.E. "If X happens, rewind by Y minutes/seconds"

I feel like that's a good compromise. Not as busted as full on time control and I can get time looped if I'm not careful. I think that'd work well.
