Also regardling your question about Bai Ji Clothes I think it dates back to the chapter with Chestnut after the Cat Liberation arc where it relates to magic where Chestnut said that Bai Ji was so weak she can’t even form her dress properly an was naked so the clothes that were usually worn are made with Magic beside actual clothes given to them as seen many times how it was constructed again despite broke in battle so as you said the size would probably goes with the body

They completely changed it 😢, this is consider a direct Nerf to Bai Ji I will explain soon or later as to what exactly is different here cause from what I remember Bai Ji fogiht back against MuXing and was the reason to send everyone away safely while she get defeated by Muxing fighting her while being weaken due to digesting Sin Lord & damage from the knife wound, also I guess They saved Huo Lei ability to be used right now instead of sacrificing to block an attack from Sin Lord which injured him badly but survive
Edit: Finish the chapter everything has been change completely Yana dialogue wasn’t even in there at all as well I hope we meet Ji Yue in the next chapter since they are in Gulan Territory

It Liliana, if you remember she was inside Bai Ji in the entire fight against Sin Lord, now that Bai Ji soul has been taken by Mu Xing/Twilight Star, The Body is free for Liliana to take, also She doesn’t have a body so the rules are kinda different here since she is merely a fragment of Bai Ming but not actually her

She doesn’t have a body, so the effects of first embrace might have been a little different as she said during the previous arc, Liliana is only a fragment of Bai Ming she doesn’t actually exist in the real world aka no body so it isn’t possible for her yet

This Chapter adapts Volume 12 Chapter 27-29, this take awhile to make due to so many details and events being change from the Novel I had to spend time comparing the 2 while being busy with real life stuff. Also thank you for the translations since it was really fast the free raws didn’t even come out for me and we already got the chapter yesterday. Anyway So In the Novel right after Bai Ji got stab and Twilight Star reveal her plan as seen from last chapter, Bai Ji is able to still fight back against her despite being stab unlike Novel which means it is an indirect nerf to Bai Ji since she was just hurting and couldn’t do anything at all with the stab wound as @Haruka_ST asked me yesterday. They continued the conversations and Bai ji talks about this was all Muxing planned she pretended to be dead and then locked everybody from escaping into another realm knowing that Bai Ji would beat the Sin Lord and then come back to reap or steal the credit from Bai Ji. Bai Ji asked her what if she failed to come back from extreme darkness, so MuXing/Twilight star said that she had absolute faith that Bai Ji would return and even if she doesn’t other devourers would still come and battle for who would be the supreme ruler only for Muxing to come and killed them the same way she did with Bai Ji. Right after this Bai Ji signal Gordon to create the teleporting spell while she lounge at Muxing knowing full way she can’t beat Twiligjt Star as a distraction sacrificing herself and as seen from the manhua They manage to escape with Gordon help with the help of Bai Ji occupying Muxing during teleportation spell chanting & everyone else fighting out to defend the spell against the elves soldier. Bai ji manage to escape with everyone but ofcourse just like the Manhua. Muxing follow them with her hands attack and they can’t flee anyway since this spell was originally develop by elves so they know how to interfere with it. The hand got Bai Ji while she tries to defend against it and everyone try to grab her to help Bai Ji with Yana just like Manhua but ofcourse Muxing got Bai Ji Soul despite Yana hand never letting go of Bai Ji. So unlike the Manhua apparently Kerr/Lilith was secretly watching after the gang got into Gulan Realm. Everything is going all according to her plan, seeing Blonde female knight body over replacing Bai Ji

Everyone is confused recognizing the body is Bai Jin wondering how it got here since ever since Bai Jin dies or got stab by Kerr/Lilith, Bai Ji stop being Bai Jin completely and became full time Vampire Queen with no more Male Human knight actions, then everyone tries to look for Bai Ji only to be know avail after that Gordon thinks that Bai Ji must have not teleported with them and has sadly been eaten by Muxing since the hand grab Bai Ji. With him realizing how cunning Muxing is being the Elf Queen picking only this moment to strike now of all times when everyone is invulnerable. Everything else is the exact same conversation and info as the manhua with Gordon explaining what happen now, Yana giving everyome hope that they can still win this against Twilight Star. Alright that should be everything now that is different from the Novel can’t believe they change so many things this time

Edit: another thing Manhua didn’t mention when Bai Ji soul was pulled from her body by Mu Xing/Twilight Star. Since Bai Ji has multiple bodies. What left of it is now an empty vessel which is Shenlung Bai Jin since that what the body was similar to being Ji Bai originally so this is what left of it since Bai Jin wasn’t incinerated into a puddle of blood like Ji Bai was during the Ji Yue confrontation chapter
