I'm seeing a lot of assumptions about this ending soon based on the title drop alone.

Not sure if that makes sense. This series went from digital only to being published in the physical magazine not too long ago. They also rushed the official English localization to get it caught up and on simulpub quickly. These aren't things you do for a manga that is about to be axed or that the author intends to end shortly...
