Kind of crazy how a teacher puts up a barrier that reflects magic back to the caster. Like, don't you think that you might end up indirectly killing a student AND be easily identified later by the principal or other school personnel who most likely understand magic as well or even better than you?

Just your average stereotypical arrogant noble that thinks he can get away with literal murder because he's a noble and a teacher... despite the fact that one of the students is a noble of even higher rank.

I'll just wait for the typical cute girl accidentally showing off her panties, then beating the shit out of the MC. Or beating the shit out of MC for saving girl from tripping or falling, and being on top of her while accidentally groping her breasts.

Asking for such level of knowledge for school entrance without any lower level school present... This system is rigged in favor of the nobles and rich merchants, who can pay a tutor for they children.

There's no thinking when it comes to these tests for example I was thinking if the MC shot a giant cannon beam and blew up the whole wall like typical OP mc's do but instead what would happen if there where people on the other side and the magic he just fired killed them? lmao so yea there's no thinking usually in these types of test :nyoron:

well, yes. thats the norm. raise someone from the ground up for a more certain outcome. raising a handful for a specific task is much cheaper and more efficient than to randomly train every single one to find a handful that are above the norm.
sure you might get the best of the best. but also pay 1000x more for it.

in case of nobility they have a track record of good stock. so its not mistaken to priorities them as a higher probable talent.

if you happen to find a raw talent great. but dont expect that to just happen whenever you need it.

This chapter specifically mentions that the grounds were built by the principal to be durable. And MC thinks about trying to destroy it.

The villain and protagonist are quickly becoming magic bros, which is nice.

Even if the teacher succeeded they country would be down three history-making talents and it would all be his fault.
I'm pretty sure bringing down the principal is just the guy's delusion. Even if his plan of injury went off without a hitch, I don't think having a student fail a test is going to shake the position of the strongest person in the world who seems to do whatever she feels like anyway without real consequence.

thank goodness, Ceres is back

I see, so it was only a day trip. I thought he had already headed over for the long haul.

This is an interesting change from the web novel. In the web novel, the test itself is already the teacher's harassment without an additional reflection barrier in front of the target. No geezer trying to drag the principal down as she's basically the strongest being and you would actually need to be insane to make her your enemy. Wonder if this is gonna go anywhere.
