Also, if you see a brand actually being featured in their actual name prominently in media, it's highly likely they have sponsorship/licensing deals behind the scenes. Most artists choose to do greeking instead because getting sponsorship/license takes time and effort.
Most likely, scanlators keep the greeking intact to keep it the same as what the mangaka intended.
