That was a cute ending. She does show a lot of care for Tokio (and obviously that comes from him to her).
Naaah. When it was just him suffering, it was "the clumsiest thing you did was falling in love with me, lol".

But hey, at least some development this chapter. Even if it's basically the same as the last chapter, except for page 10.

Chita really is the Jar Jar Binks of this series. Put in to be an ill-fitting comedy relief character who most of the audience either doesn't care about or actively despises. I think the author is trying to add dimension to her character, but isn't doing a real great job. I think the problem boils down to her being a character in a romcom that actively tries to prevent romcom stuff from happening. That could work pretty well as the protagonist or antagonist of a work, but Chita is neither of those things. (On purpose. I'm sure some in the comments view her as an antagonist.) She just comes across as selfish and greedy, wanting to keep her friends for only herself, getting jealous when ANYONE she "cares about" even looks at somebody else. Tokio is a great example of this. She knows he has a massive crush on her, but instead of addressing it at all, she uses and leads him on. When he (somewhat understandably) becomes more popular than her on her own channel, you know, the popularity she WANTED HIM TO BRING, she gets jealous when another bigger channel wants to colab. Tokio only does the colab for Chika in the first place, but she views it as someone trying to poach HER person, even though she has no interest or intention to reciprocate or even acknowledge his feelings. But by this point, even if Chita and Tokio get together, they wouldn't have a healthy relationship. I'm sorry to say it, but our boy Tokio is a pretty big simp. I can't see a relationship between the two of them being anything more than it is now, but with Chita having an even firmer grasp on Tokio because they're "dating" now. All the dates would be what she wants to do, on her schedule, Tokio just being dragged around and happy for it to happen. And mark my words, by the end of this arc, Chita and Tokio WILL be dating. And if they somehow aren't, it will end with her "liking him back" but not actually acting on those supposed feelings or changing the lack of care with which she usually treats him.

The real fun part is when people come in and try to defend her against the "haters" by pretending this is an interesting narrative. Maybe they are asleep.

Please be stomach cancer
As a person who luckily slipped through cancer's grasp - very, very funny. I hope that lack of empathy is due to a brain tumor.

No, honestly, I hope you're either young, inexperienced, both - or just an idiot.

Using smthg like cancer as a joke is just ridiculously infantile.

Also, if you lot hate Chita chapters that much - just don't read them? The chapter's protagonists are part of it's title?

Offended that the free translation you can graciously read due mangadex and the translation team isn't about your favorite couple? Do I have to elaborate further?

And if you're the 'but I have to read each chapter, anything else feels just wrong' type of person, but still don't care about Chi at all? Well, I'm that boat too. Do I whine? No, no I don't. Truthfully, if that's the worst thing that'll happen from this point in time to the end of my days - what more could I even whish for.

TL;DR - Cancer / AIDS etc. = Not funny. If you're not mature enough to get that, I'll stop waisting both of our time.

Oh, and a little rant about all Chi chapter whiners.

To be fair, rising to the bait is not any less infantile.

You're still missing on a chapter about characters that matter, that's the point. If you skip the current batch of Chita chapters, for instance, the manga turns from a weekly to a monthly for you.
At least in this batch unlike the previous ones they've made some progress - but this progress could've fit onto three pages, not three chapters.

Tbf, not that Anna&Seto chapters are moving anywhere, either. Seto's extremely touch-averse despite being in a relationship and can't decide on his future for... how many chapters now? A hundred? A hundred and fifty? That's, what, three years worth of weekly chapters spent on no meaningful progress at all?

Toyoda&Inuyama are really the only ones keeping this manga afloat by now.
