So 2 things:
  1. I fucked up and used the chapter 6 title for chapter 5
  2. Said chapter 6 title matches the name of that series. I only see two manga on the author's Pixiv, being this one and one called "Black and White World", so maybe that Mangadex entry is a mistake?
Oh, i see, thanks
This is prob the most evil character i've seen in a while?
Self centered
Projecting
Dismissing people she deems inferior

And all because she couldn't achieve anything on her own and became a cog in the machine, she has as much mental issues as the FMC (but hers are asylum level of sociopathy)
it's a very 'top student looking down on the (seemingly) slacker types' but i imagine if you don't sign up for it, maybe some are chosen at random. tho you'd think there'd be more to pick up the slack if there are 'teams' versus just one for a city esp since some cities are bigger than others

Altho it's usually these types that crash and burnout even harder when they /do/ fail

Rather than magical girls, they act more like black company wageslaves. They make it sound like a dull project with deadlines, quotas and efficiency. They don't seem to enjoy it, and don't even bother with cutesy outfits or wands. These arrangements could break an adult.

Could and do break adults. And at least adults can thrive more on pastimes outside of work (some more so than others); magical girls seem to be on call all the time.

Luckily for boss girl she's in Japan, if it were a typical Western country with a normal work culture (so not the US either) she could be liable for disciplinary and/or legal action for ignoring an employee's mental health - that is, assuming magical girl organisations have to follow labour laws (which they might not tbf, considering the fact that most magical girls are below legal working age).

Ah yes, managing human resources on a war and being as cold and as pragmatic as possible, Tanya would be proud.

Human resources is such a magical term, use it long enough and you forget humans are people with feelings, with aspirations, family, or that they're alive, all that matters is the main objective, be it win a battle or reach the quota :nyoron:
Ironically enough, Tanya is actually good at HR and when someone clearly can't get over things on the spot, she gives them time to mull things over and is open to changing their placement. She handled the situation with Grantz during the battle in Arene about as well as could be expected.

Kinda sucks that the anime shortened the opening HR segment and cut all of the parts that showed he DID do due diligence and the sacking was the employee's fault after a multitude of second chances and warnings. Can't expect to keep your job when you habitually decide not to show up for no reason and don't put in effort into getting your work done.

Wow. Let's acknowledge how the manager was successfully fleshed out in a single chapter. Those words were not foreign coming from HER. Even if the proposal is extremely cruel and will definitely not work.
Maybe this will push the other girl to try and help proactively.
Also it would have been a kicker if Akari would have turned out to be that OP MG that single-handedly ended that big monster.

Yeah, for all her sociopathic attitude, Tanya is a great HR, although she didn't care about her soldiers in the beginning, she still knew they're people, so she treated them as such to be efficient and have good soldiers, really, even when it comesto the bigger picture she never ful,y ignores the human factor, because she knows that's important to truly do things efficiently.

Yeah, the anime could have been a lot better, fortunately the manga is way better adapted, so we get more of those details.
