just threesome end.

Its not rocket science.
He has a dick and a tongue. 2 girls are simultaneously doable just saying smh

There will be times novel girl is busy, there will be times, physics girl be busy, there will be times, handyman? mc be busy.
Other 2 can be good support in each time.

This stupid plot point again, if another girl swoop in I’d say senpai deserved it.
Real healthy relationship is actually a very good thing, having someone supporting you to achieve your dreams made it a lot easier. Every time this kind of excuses came up it makes me think the author doesn’t really know how relationship works.
Does they know having a relationship is a lot more than just having lovey-dovey time?
And they are supposed to be a collage students? If you ask me the time spending support each other is just important.
If it’s just high schoolers I can somewhat suspend my disbelief but this? It’s kinda stupid and contrived plot to drag things out.
Probably gonna drop this and come back after this mess reach the ending.
I really love how the story leading up to this a lot and I really like senpai as a character and the chemistry was there too, more than other girl even, such a stupid excuses.
And the MC is half baked too, just say that ‘I’ll support you with everything I got so please go out with me at the same time’ or something along those lines.
But I guess they already set who’s gonna be the main girl huh? It’s a shame.
Author wanted to do something unconventional and have rarely used collage kids as main cast, while they forgot, that those are actually young adults, but treated those as "overgrown teenagers" instead. This is happening, when author, who never experienced shit in their life, is trying to dab into uncharted territory. You get this type of manga, where everything is screaming at you "IT'S ANOTHER MEDIOCRE TITLE WITH CLASSIC LOSING HEROINE, DON'T READ IT!!!!!", but author is saving it with pretty and very dynamic drawings. Which are, by the way, also becoming more and more absurd and kinda cringe, IMHO.

Nah man you don't get it, clearly the only way to not do things "half-heartedly" is for those to be the only things you're ever allowed do 24/7. If you even try to think about not writing novels for even a second while thinking of becoming a novelist, that just means you actually don't care about putting in the effort, isn't that obvious? You can't possibly have dumb shit like hobbies or people to hang out with, that just makes you unserious and unwilling to commit to reaching your objective.

Man I really fucking hate this trope lmao
The thing is, the competition in this era is so insane that most people in the industry understood that's the mindset required to succeed in it, but this is not the same for every industry, most people don't dwell in this kind of competition and i bet the author didn't expect majority audience to not resonate with her reasons.
I know it's a manga, but realistically it's actually best for her to take this opportunity to go out with Saraki because she is still young and this is the best time to learn and hope for the best, rather than regret later in life.

Regardless, I really liked the progression, it was unique and unpredictable, lets see how it goes.

Ok I did not see this coming, is the author making Senpai the de facto winner and removing the main girl from the bowl.
I've mentioned it in an earlier chapter, but remember that Artemis was a virgin goddess in mythology, so yes, senpai is very likely the winner

Also good on Saraki for not indulging her frankly stupid false dichotomy, even if he did stutter at the end

And there it is folks, the window. I have been trying to figure out what direction they were gonna go to create the "opening" for main girl. After it seemed like mc balled up about his feelings.

sigh this is why you fight for both. Have a dream? Fight for it. Have someone you want to give every waking hour to because you love them? Fight for that too. Give your all to both. You can, its exhausting, sometimes frustrating, but above all, worth it.

And if your partner truly feels the same, they will also give their all to you and their dream. Filling in the parts you cant, and you fill in theirs. Thats what it means to love AND support.

I really want to see a series that gets that.

I mean to be fari they are supposed to be 21. I don't know about you, but I at least was very much an overgrown teenager on my first years of uni at that age. I've heard that people in America assume responsabilities and are thrusted into adult life faster than in other countries but is not the case everywhere

The short glimpse back with her father helps explain her mindset a bit. She's from a poor background and her family sacrificed to get her where she is now. In her mind she HAS to become the best or her family sacrificed for nothing and she's a failure. Couple that with a bit of an inferiority/imposter complex and no wonder she is throwing out ridiculous ultimatums.
It's a totally badong way of thinking but I get it.
Now to sit back and see how the author drags her out of the idea that it MUST be an either/or all or nothing outcome.

what makes it even more stupid is that the whole point of the manga is that the main heroine fails at life because she's obsessive in one thing (even though she's world class at it) and doesnt have real life experience.

Hey fellas, if the poster girl wins in the end, Chapt. 41 & 42 were the exact moment She won and this fucking retard lost.

legitimately what is the end goal here. Does she not know about work life balance. Does she not know you cant date someone while also working at job, ya know being a normal fucking human being.

Ts pisses me off to no end cuz ive been rooting for her since the start and this is the bullshit we're pulling now..

Not a fan of this plot.
Now we can assume that if senpai wins there won't be romantic developments until the end since they put that on hold, and if the first girls wins the protagonist will look bad for moving on after confessing.
Not sure the Japanese have this obsession that you have to dedicate 100% to school or work without any distraction or you won't be able to have success.

the plot is dumb af we just got a debuff on the senpai brain man, she even says it herself that is thanks to him that she got motivated to continue as a writer, so pretty much pushing him off will just got her to losing the spark to continue writing for the magazine, then when she wants to return to the MC, he will be in a relationship... this screams the senpai is trying to have the cake and eat it too, make the MC only focus on her without having an actual relationship while she works and have him to keep giving her positive feedback while he can't have a normal relationship with another girl as he's faithful to HIS NOT GIRLFRIEND!!

Nah they're 100% setting up the scenario of her eventually choosing being a novelist over him, meanwhile Main girl will swoop in and choose him over her science (or manage that unicorn that is work-life balance the Japanese seem to be so scared of)
Its something like this that will happen for sure.. Maybe not that she will choose being a novelist over him, but he will fall for the other girl before she is done and she gonna regret it etc.. Such a fucking retarded decision. I hate this fucking "wait for me until im worthy you... Just give me...1-20 years or some shit." bruh.

I find it incredibly frustrating, for reasons already mentioned, that stories that manage to have the slightest bit of interesting romance and drama plot points suddenly throw everything out of the window in a bout of mental retardation that borders on character assassination when it impacts characters who are otherwise reasonable and the "adults in the room" if you will. I was really enjoying this manga up to the chapter Senpai mentions "following her dream" after her confession, because I knew this was coming, what a pain.
