I'm I the only one who didn't get a thing in this chapter....
So, last chapter she went to visit her uncle. I assumed she meant that one, that married her off to the duke. By reading the comments I got, that this uncle isn't the same person. Good... Also last chapter it seemed she was about to do something to get out of this marriage situation. Now she was all about to save the (people of) the dukedom... This and the previous chapter don't connect well. Are both part of the same plan, even though we want her to divorce asap? Are our expectations to be betrayed? Did she just wanted to warn her favorite uncle, that she is about to do something, that will tarnish the families name? Was that the reason for her visit(/this chapter)?
If she plans to stay married, so that she can save the land, then that's not primly about divorce. It is about helping your enemy along the line, just to chicken out before reaping the benefits and leaving everyone and everything back, just to be ruined again. It's about fucking up. Oh God. Please don't let this be a "I have a great idea. And it is great because everyone else is holding a bigger idiot ball, than I am holding to." kind of genius story.
