as much of a snake Takae is, seeing her care that much for Saotome is surprising, looking from where she started out with him. Also shows the readers that her love is genuine after all. Agree with the sentiment of the chapter dropping specifically now tho

I love that despite all her development she is still a snake, like she won literally by being the most corrupt candidate but... is perfectly on character, her development made her a better Takae but she is still Takae instead of suddenly becoming a goodie two shoes

this is quite the stupid arc. running for president even tho he doesn't want to, that's more wicked even than dating a girl he doesn't like, no way he'd do that. then the opposition splitting the electorate three-ways just to make sure they lose? i mean i know they're all braindead but it didn't have to be that obvious. and then they win anyway, just because one said "pls convince your class", lol. this writing never was in any danger of winning a pulitzer but it is getting to new lows all the time.
