If it was a translation error, then I'm actually relieved. I know people are sick of the whole pseudo-harem thing that this manga has got going on, I just want it all to be resolved in a good manner. Introducing someone so late in the game, and MC is thinking about accepting being her BF just cause she confessed. I like to think that he's not that dense that he doesn't think the girls all don't like him, he's just too cautious and not want to cause damage to their friendship.

Who else genuinely wants the comedy of an actual harem ending for this pathetic MC

I felt like he was growing for a few chapters there, before we came head first into this arc.

Compared to a bunch of other Harem MCs, he was starting to feel like someone with some actual thing beyond his decent human nature and his inability to stand the provocations of the female body while being able to distort reality around him from the sheer concentration of mass in his existence (a.k.a. being stupidly dense).

He was actually developing something of a backbone, becoming able to defend himself, and even starting to solve his feelings towards the girls and taken them more seriously, if only by degrees...then all THIS shit happened.

As worldbuilding and helping Saotome get a bit closer to what he truly feels for Kuzuhana, it's been entertaining enough, but GOD can I barely feel any of the small interesting points Saotome had going for him for a while there. At the barest of minimums, he's actually thinking of having an emotional relationship with ANYONE around him at all even if it is someone he barely knows, because they actually went ahead and told him they wanted that (if regardless of sincerity).
