That just honestly left me depressed, wasn't bittersweet neither was a happy ending. I had the mindset of vampires being depressed but with how he's half and half and she was born from a human and vampire I was imagining she'd finally be able to suck his blood and be fine especially with how he can still remain half and half "magically".
The whole story was great but the ending is just "eh..." you would think love would take that risk because even Mahiro took that risk and had less of what they created.
Playing tag until death is just an empty feeling it doesn't feel like love at all. All I asked myself was "that's it?" I knew what was coming as I got near the final Ch 200 and nothing was changing for the better but It just all felt depressing the last, idk around 20 chapters left of the story?
I guess with how it ended it just isn't a story I want to keep on my shelf and remember it by.
