Usually when people talk about things growing exponentially, they're talking about an exponent of ten or more, not whatever low numbers those are."My status and skills had grown exponentially."
The fuck does that mean? Anything is "exponential" if there are only two data pointsMy status and skills had grown exponentially
Definitely a very funny TL choice, or an especially funny choice of words if that's what was written in Jap.A noble phantasm? Are we in a Holy Grail War?
His fear is absolutely reasonable for sure, but a good ruler would see that she feels unsafe, especially after what happens in the following chapters, and do everything in his power to make the country safe for her so she wants to stay and work for the country, not try to manipulate her into working for him. This is why in a world of magic and superpowered individuals, abusive institutions like slavery and upwardly immobile caste systems are a recipe for disaster and only run by idiot nobles, all it takes is one person like Ren who pops up out of nowhere to turn the whole system on its head when they're driven into a corner. Not that I defend the prince or anything but you gotta understand that he's headhunting powerful ally as a prince. His fear of Ren making legendary weapons in other countries is fking scary as the leaders of the nation after all. He also has some interest in Ren but it is plainly bc of her look (for now). Dude can redeem if he actually likes her for her personality.
I think the problem with that rn is that Vector himself knows nothing about Ren's backstory being in slavery and all, of course he could look into it, but that he has yet to do, afaik the only thing he knows is that Ren is an absolute powerhouse and wants to be left alone, which yknow is hard if you want to appeal to them to stay if ren wants to be left alone, Right now Vector doesnt have a real reason that he knows of to abolish slaveryHis fear is absolutely reasonable for sure, but a good ruler would see that she feels unsafe, especially after what happens in the following chapters, and do everything in his power to make the country safe for her so she wants to stay and work for the country, not try to manipulate her into working for him. Vector was raised by idiot nobles and still thinks like them, so IMO the only way he can really redeem himself is if he rises above that way of thinking and works with Ren to abolish slavery if he ever finds out that's why she's so prone to running and hiding. A few elite squads armed with Ren's weapons and armor could easily bust every noble backed slavery ring in the country.
He did dogeza, even in private, which shows his sincerity in the matter. I think he understands her situation by their exchange at the end of chapter 89.His fear is absolutely reasonable for sure, but a good ruler would see that she feels unsafe, especially after what happens in the following chapters, and do everything in his power to make the country safe for her so she wants to stay and work for the country, not try to manipulate her into working for him. I mean, some of his stats grew almost triple of its initial value. It an expression that describes something growing way faster than it should.Usually when people talk about things growing exponentially, they're talking about an exponent of ten or more, not whatever low numbers those are.
Yeah, someone who knows about disguise skills wouldn't be fooled by a palette swap.
