@Add1152000 Nikoru is kind of unique in that he's also a well researched Merchant.

And yeah, it's weird she didn't just say, "I can tell them apart, even without a skill like Appraisal" but it was probably easier for her at the time to just... Make some Magic Item.

Keep in mind, she explains it pretty well- She has been lazing about in her house using magic for most of her needs. Like a D&D Wizard using Prestidigitation and Mage Hand to warm, clean, and grab the remote from across the room. She's not used to hiding her power level.
