A bit off with the ordering. She's explicitly still female, but may not care for either pronoun right now because of how long it's been since they were needed. She was born a hybrid that had monkey-like traits, then grew into the lamia ones, got caught to be a human experiment where she lost the obvious visual feminine traits (like breasts) from the torture and botched treatment. She was then found and turned into a Vampire.

This whole talk comes back to that description of what a person would have to become in order for Vans death charm to work on someone living. They would have to completely give up on life to their core and wish for death and further living was considered horrible suffering; just like this vampire. I'm curious when he fixes her if he could restore her completely to how she was before she was experimented on. He may not be able to do it now, but he could use other parts later to restore her like he did with that chimera girl of his.
