The bikini bottoms on scyllas is weird. How are they wearing them? Why do they have hips at all when they don't have legs? The artist is clearly just drawing with his dick.
Scylla: one of the monster girls that some artists tend to fuck up on the anatomy, due to making 'em too human.
I'm aware there's liberties with fictional creatures, but still... try to keep some degree of practicality?

The octopus half starts too low with this one; she still has human thighs, crotch, and butt cheeks/crack!
Two thighs, attached to several legs... what kind of fucking sense does that make?
The cloaca - or the vagina + anus, if the artist prefers - should be underneath, past all those legs, not above them.

As explained, it's a false-flag operation, they are in Sauron, the Duchy from Orbaum Elective Kingdom that was recently taken by Amid (Remember in the first chapters when Van tried to get there, and heard from a "spy" that there was a war on that side, so he went through the forest and met the Ghouls?)

Amid won that war and took the territory, the "resistance" wants to get the territory back.
Sauron is a pro Vida Religion, not because they are super devout, but because Amid is so extreme that they just the exact opposite way.

The scylla are a race of Vida, Amid being extreme would aim to kill all of them, although they are not doing anything now (They don't have too much control over the region yet).

So in a way, the Resistance is not wrong, if the Scylla's can join them to defeat the Amid Empire, that would be good for both sides. The reason they do all this desecration is to make it look like the Amid Empire did it.

By looking at the later spoiler, and reading all of this...man. These people really are in a desperate position, to even consider doing this. Not like I find that justifiable, but at least they aren't just trying to be horrendous bastards for no reason - unlike most of our bad guys so far, who seem to deliberately enjoy making others suffer.

I do feel sad for them, though. That because of going to such drastic measures, they're likely going to get their souls erased...but, looking at the bright side, maybe their sacrifices will at least get Vandalieu to try crushing Amid's occupation force, at least out of disgust towards their modus operandi. Now, whether the people of Saurom manage to not get turned into undead for daring to consider doing such atrocities to their fellow cohabitants in order to rouse them into combat, I cannot say a thing, but maybe it would happen on a les general basis than "being a human habitant of Sauron".

Reasonably everyone's talking about the ballistic missiles on Bellmond, but is Knochen's power-up gonna be ignored too?
Big boy is literally a moving city of bones now, what in the Godzilla fuck did Van feed his boney pets with?

You know that the original Scylla was a human partially transformed into an octopus/squid, right? Just think of it like Medusa, but instead of the hair turning into snakes her legs were split and turned into tentacles.

thanks for the chapter,
so does he stop the souls from going back intot he cycle to hurt that god ?
I don't even think he's thinking about Rodcorte while doing this stuff.
It wouldn't matter in this case; the souls of Vida's races are circulating through a separate cycle Vida made by copying Rodcorte's system. Van technically belongs to this cycle of reincarnation now too (like anything can even kill him by this point), which is why Rodcorte can't track him; he fell out of his system when Vida intervened in Van's rebirth. Vida's system is currently incomplete and in a bit of a mess since she was sealed before she could finish it and really couldn't do any maintenance while effectively comatose for the last 100,000 years.

Fun fact, there's a third cycle of reincarnation on Lambda as well; the Demon King also copied Rodcorte's system during his invasion, which is what keeps the monsters respawning. It's an even bigger mess since the Demon King gave zero fucks about small details, or anything other than himself really, but it kept his army going well enough for his needs.

Correction on the spoiler:
Vida did not copy Rodcorte's System, she copied the Demon King's system. The Demon King copied Rodcorte's, meaning that Vida's system is a copy of a copy.

The idea is that with the war over she would have time to watch over it and fix things with time, but then she got backstabbed by her brother Alda and his lover Bellwood.

You had my agreement until you said "drawing with his dick".

It was never said that Bellwood and Alda were in a romantic relationship. Neither on the novel nor webnovel.

Would she got spurred on like the giant princess ghost as well, and turned into similarly vengeful spirit?

I mean she might not know it due to her being under influence of the ring I guess, but I feel like if she got told she might do 180 of her opinion toward the guy or human in general.
