Vida never abandoned humanity. What she did was reckless but it was still a valid solution considering how corrupted the world was at that time. If you've read the translated novel, you should already know that there are monster nations with numerous humans living peacefully.

It's absolutely ridiculous to think that Vida would abandon any of the human races, especially since many of them are associated with the other great gods. Creating half-monsters =/= all humans die. That's your own narrative.
Jeez, you're reminding me of someone else that comments on the translated novel who gets unnecessarily angry at certain characters for questionable reasons.

@Kingkolkappi - as a transhumanist, I wholeheartedly approve of Vida's actions. Humans suck, and cannot survive in the new monster-infested world without catgirls, lamias and other monstergirls.

More seriously, the world where dungeons just randomly spawn monsters, needs a large population and strong inhabitants to survive, otherwise it will be overrun by monsters. Take this ghoul tribe - by hunting and eating goblins, they are keeping their population under control and preventing them from spilling over and ravaging human lands.

Vampires may have been a failure, but all other Vida's races are fine people who help civilization and the original populations of the world prosper. As gods' work goes, this is actually a very nice percentage of success.

I really love how the author builds the world and the lore, how detailed are the races explanations. It really makes it feel like this is a really rich and imaginative world.

In the novel:

Basdia was the most skilled among the young Ghouls, even including the males, but her social position within the village wasn’t very high. The social status of Ghouls was determined by strength for men, and skill in magic and number of children birthed for women. Basdia was unskilled in magic and hadn’t given birth to a child yet, so no matter how skilled she was at fighting, she would never be able to rise to the top positions.
