I translated a non-comedic version of this kind of story where the manga ended like that.
Although I feel that might fuck with the tone a bit if it did end in tragedy considering this is very much an action comedy manga.

Love this manga for the characters, story and art.

The sequences where the assassins show the counterpart animal is very well done from junior's wolf to fuku's attack.

In this chapter alone Yotaka with her back arched in mid-air.

Just magnificent.

I have very few mangas in my peak folder. I am always surprised and happy when this shows up!

Everyone mind you this story is being told by not Yotaka so the jealousy claim is just a theory. Personally I believe based on the story she did it more for junior sake to stop what could've been a cold unstoppable killer now her personal guard doge. Yes it can. If he had bad intentions or orders then it would have been an earned/reflexive strike and afterwards they could go back to being comrades.

She is chummy with people trying or who tried to kill her all the time, we are just coming from the horse race episode where she instantly forgave a killer because she thought of him as a fellow gambling friend. No autism needed.
