It's nice to see this story continuing past the Big Climactic scene- I like a mystery being unraveled. And seeing the other 'villainesses' and their exes recover and develop after this event... I think that's interesting!

I like how there’s real consequences to the actions of victims and perpetrators (even though we’re waiting to find out who the real antagonist is). The girls’ feelings being validated is so 🥺🥺

i just hope it doesn't go the same route as that other manga where after the game story "concluded", their mls "got captured" in the next arc or "got amnesia" as per the game's bonus content or part 2.

At page 32, there was an error in one of Pia's lines
"It's a win for Rufus-sama if you manage to __ crown prince Edward before my task is finished!"
Manage to "cure"? I haven't read the novel or the raw yet so I don't know.

Thanks for the chapter :salute:
I think in this context, "crown" is being used as a verb, as in "to crown the Prince as the new king"
:haa: ... he's been helping the 2nd Prince prepare to take over as "Crown" Prince, so the bet is whether or not he can get the 2nd Prince to be officially declared Crown Prince before she finishes her task.

Edit: Making "to crown Prince Edward" mean to literally have him named 'Crown' Prince.

gooood im so glad this manga exist because there's like... this other manga with an evil dragon and a villainess who lives in a loop where the male characters have been confirmed to have their minds addled by the heroine's charm, resulting in them being excessively cruel to everyone, but it's a mindless revenge fantasy where they exact their revenge on the brainwashed characters without considering the fact that... they're obviously victims too? anyway. pia superiority. love that the girls are allowed to feel hurt despite knowing that the boys are victims too
I'm gonna have to ask you to please tell me which manga you're talking about... not so much because I've never heard of that premise, but more like there are so many mangas with those characteristics that I'm having trouble identifying which specific one it is.

"In Her Fifth Life, the Villainess Lives with an Evil Dragon"
also i thought it was 8th Loop or something exactly bc there are too many with similar premise

Wow! Good TL of a Great Chapter!
Thanks, MochiHachi!

Our Male lead is definitely considering the old "Heihachi Mishima (三島 平八)" route to resolve the "bet" with his fiance, and honestly...?
I'm here for it.

Our beautiful MC doesn't need to see it, but this level of "fuck around" sophistry richly deserves an equitable level of "Find Out" presence!

Imma look this up, now; I really liked what I've read of the "7th Loop" with both the game breaker, and the 'evil' prince, so... let's check in on a Ryusei!

So we're building up for another arc. Anyone know where the manga is currently at compared to the novels?

I'm glad that the author seems to have a clear idea where they want to take the story. Some Villainess Isekai stories tend to falter at this post-Annulment stage because the author didn't plan enough, and the story ended up feeling aimless.
I checked the novel's ending after reading this, which surprisingly only has 9 chapters? (plus prologue and 2 epilogues)
There were some changes in the end scene, with the main thing being that they actually got married after the event. So the manga is going into uncharted territory.

actually I did a quick skim and it seems like the manga adaptation added in a lot of stuff? I don't think Erina and Henry were mentioned at all.
Of the fate of the others, it was mentioned that the crown prince has mostly healed, with some relapses (so he is duke while the second prince is now crown prince). So hopefully Henry should make a full recovery in the manga! And Amelia(?) Keith, who was supposed to be queen, will be marrying the second prince instead and will still be queen.
It seems like Pia wasn't involved at all in the drug recovery in the novel, seeing as she immediately got married and there were no new bets made.
Also they got a cute kid a couple years in (after some issues conceiving lol)

Really like that they are treating the drug addiction seriously, considering it is technically a disease... I genuinely wonder what the drug was (stimulants?) and how Coraline knew how to get them
