Remember that chapter that said:
"#Note: This is now a battle manga"? lmao, no bloody god damn kidding.

And I am also of the opinion that this manga is dragging its feet at this point. God forbid it ever had an actual story to it, an ACTUAL story to it, but it has been stagnating for a while now.

can we give this manga some story now? it keeps floundering around not really sure what to do with itself. that's fine for harem stuff at the start but now that this is becoming battle stuff it should probably have a general direction. this many chapters in, rosario vampire had already introduced the threat of alucard, sora no otoshimono showed us the villain of synapse, etc.

There are a lot of things to improve in this manga, but one thing Is true; you can't just be a boob story bland like all the Sh** out there, personally I really enjoy it. You will not like the MC ir the writing, but one of the big pros I find in it Is that the story just did not stay a romcom like with stumbles and boobs; I wouldn't even condider reading if that was the case. Still hope it improves with time, but that does not mean I think Is trash. (I'm from Latinoamérica so sorry por the bad english, also phone didn't help either?)

It's missing the "Slice of Life" tag (It's categorized as such elsewhere, just not here for some reason). Slice of Life manga don't focus on story at all. Just antics and character interactions with minor development. Typically, Slice of Life manga is meant to enjoy passing the time with, like a newspaper comic strip, not an actual book.

"School Life" is a similar tag (difference being it focuses on....well, school and the day-to-day from the students and teachers), but they contain story development half the time. Considering this manga doesn't focus on school. I think someone should put the "Slice of Life" tag back in so people can stop getting confused. After all, this is basically Nisekoi with supernatural activity.

@TwilightFaze I assure you, nobody here is confused. This manga is heavily making use of plot devices. Even with its copious "chapters just for boobs and panties", it still tries to sell the idea that there's an end-goal in it.
Which, honestly, it already got to. Yuuna's plot was resolved, and thus has lost its drive.

If you still like what you're getting, go for it. But do try to understand, with Yuuna's plot resolved, there will be people who'd feel like it's a safe place to stop reading. That's about it.

@Solipsist That's exactly what I mean though: You're focused on the story and plot devices, but a Slice of Life manga doesn't bother with all that. Never had, never will.

However, since you brought it up, permit me to point something out (you were not rude to me, so I hope I'm not to you): Yuuna's story isn't really over.
We found out about her origins and her true self. The main plot was what it would take to get her to pass on since, despite everything, she's still a ghost. However, just like when trying to solve the mystery of her past, nobody pushed for it. It wasn't until her (after)life was in serious danger did they finally search for it. After it was over, they returned to the fact Kogarashi wanted to get her to pass on, but everybody decided against it and felt it wasn't worth pursuing. Meaning we still don't know what originally tethers her to Earth. We know one reason is Kogarashi, but that's after the fact. Her true unfinished business is still unknown
. So if you want a plot device, there's that.

Until then, we still have the other girls to get the spotlight and their romance "war" once this debacle with the Oni is over with. To me, the SUB plot point, if you will, is that there is still a power struggle in the supernatural underground. Kogarashi has been able to stave off the greedy bastards so far, but it's all got to come to a head sooner or later. So even if Yuuna's story is never addressed, it can be debated that Yuuna's arc is over and a new arc is taking over. I'm just guessing about the power struggle thing, but with how the Oni are acting, I don't think I'm too far off.

Poor man's love hina. The art is nice and the story starts good, but it just doesn't progress. Shame

I'm only here for Yaya. Yaya is the best. But Yaya doesn't show up a lot.

What kind of complete moron look up porn on a teacher's laptop!?
That and the fact they are in a school, I'm surprised it even gave out any results. Don't they censor the network in schools there?

It never occurred to me how potentially sad harem situations like these actually are.
Essentially, we're talking about a circle of "friends", whom all associate with 1 person on the sole basis that: "I am in love with him, and want to be his lover". Take that desire out of the picture, and their relationship with the MC starts to crumble, most likely also with each other.

The god damn guy doesn't even have 1 actual friend within his circle. It's a good thing that this is a dumb harem manga and none of what I wrote actually applies, otherwise, that'd be pretty depressing.
