Well we can sort of see here that this is clearly a poly manga or something... this just unfortunate man...

For real tho, it seems like mafuyu and chiyoko would've been the canon ship if the manga didn't get axed. Poly would've been cool tho :3

I don’t think she kissed her to get closer to sakine unless I’m misunderstanding what you are saying.. she kissed her because she likes chiyoko (if that’s her name) she said she was overwriting it and the indirect kiss comment was more of she was just embarrassed and made a joke. Since we find out she likes chiyoko that’s how I interpreted it. And you saying she didn’t consider her as a romantic option didn’t she realize her feelings for her during the school trip?
As far as I understand it, she is still not over Sakine. Even if deep inside she has any romantic feelings for her, she totally didn't acknowledged them to this very moment and see her only as kind of twisted version of a friend who is supposed to be her wingwoman (you know this whole slave stuff).

I know people are really quick to say that a series with a bad ending obviously got axed, and as someone who used to read a lot of Shonen, I can kinda see where they're coming from.

I'm just wondering if it's that common with other genres. I just can't imagine any kind of mag publishing Yuri to have a series turnover similar to Jump or whatnot. From what I'm seeing about Kadokomi, a LOT of their series seem to be really short, with only a few series getting more than 2 or 3+ volumes. I find it hard to believe that it's because they ALL got axed.

To me, it just looks like it was always gonna be 3-ish volumes story. I just think the author got too ambitious by introducing too many characters and drama and couldn't sort it properly in time (Shinoppe hella cute but also kinda superfluous come on now), and by the time they realized that, they just accepted that a half-baked ending was the best they could offer.
Sometimes, you have to accept an author is kinda ass at writing a good epilogue.

It seems this story will end without conclusion. Reader decide it who will get pairs or polyamory.

It's quite boring if it ends like that. I prefer Watanare which even Renako is worst but she still made decision.

I think you should reread the last few chapters again I think she realized her feelings for chiyoko it doesn’t imply anywhere that she wasn’t over saline once that happened.

Unless we get confirmation from the author we don't usually know, but there is a different feeling to a shitty ending with 1 or 2 volumes, and an ending that feels rushed. I grant you that it can still feel rushed if it's poorly written, but there are definitely a lot of yuri manga that do get cancelled pretty early on, and magazines do make comparisons between their works to see what the audience is reacting to, which is especially easy to do with online works.

There are plenty of manga that are much longer on kadokomi if you check their ranking section, so even if they have a lot of 2 or 3 volume stories that could still be because of high turnover. Personally, this didn't feel like a 3 volume story to me. The set up in the first two volumes seems primed for extended and chaotic shenanigans between the four of them. You can do a lot with a love square. And more to the point, even if they couldn't sort out the timing of everything, Chiyoko not really figuring out she's gay in those 3 volumes highly suggests it wasn't meant to be 3 volumes.

Addendum to the contract:
4th spend the rest of your life with me.

Thank you Zeztie once again for the scanlation.
The epilogue will be brilliant.

That is one happy slave, at last happier than we with this rushed ending.

Chiyoko is a great character, shame she is in such underwhelming manga. She deserved to have harem of her own, and for others to be her slaves instead.

Hopefully epilogue will give us some kind of closure.
