I have no sympathy for cheaters.
She considered herself Ceres's fiancée, but she was banging Zect. What she was doing was worse than the others. It's not like Zect raped her, blackmailed her, or used other illegal means. She chose to cheat. She chose to fuck him because she wanted to fuck him. She, like Zect, got off on the excitement of having an affair. She wanted to string the nice guy along while banging the scumbag, hoping to keep the nice guy around as a backup for when the scumbag eventually tosses her aside - and that time is now. Deflecting responsibility and failing to take accountability for one's actions is the oldest trick in the cheaters' playbook. Any self-respecting man will see it for what it is and never take back a cheater.
Guys who take back cheaters get cheated on again.
When you fail to enforce a boundary, she loses respect and attraction for you and will again seek out the excitement and external validation she experienced before.
The risk of getting caught will also no longer weigh on her to hold her back (not that it helped first time) - after all, if she got you to cave and forgive her, she'll be emboldened by the confidence that she'll be able to do it again the next time she gets caught.
I hope not. I'm expecting this to be the start of a training arc where the mothers deliver some tough love educating their spoiled brats. Maybe they'll turn them into worthy brides for someone else. It's going to be a long fucking time before Ceres finds them attractive and/or their mothers consider them worthy of him. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have what it takes to meet their mothers' standards and bail out halfway to find some poor simps to take them in.
