Yeah, I finished reading the novel a couple days ago and it really didn't feel right. The only "sin" the mothers want to punish their children for is how they treated MC.

But, according to this world, at 15 years old, the hero and the daughters should be full fledge adults yet they are not capable to properly take care of themselves. At no point in the story does anybody hint that maybe the parents fucked up the kids education.

The children are only there to be objectively worse versions of the MC and the mothers, but the mothers never play a role of mentors or even mothers to their kids. They are only MC's wives, and terrible mothers.

The worst part of the revenge is that MC choses young slaves for the fathers as replacement for the mothers (already extremely questionable, but it is this world's way of things, I guess...), but he deliberatley choses girls who look like the daughters so that they are disgusted by their own fathers and can't stay in the village.

And they then made the mc take care of them. Not shit they ended up being shit, they were too pampered and learned nothing about how to survive in the world apart from combat

So basically, for the MC, he didn't care about kicked out cause he just wanted to impress their moms...

And by being in the party, he's legally allowed to have a lot of wives...

So he actually got paid for baby sitting them.... meaning he has no reason to get revenge...

So the MC is right. It's not him being nice, it's just that he actually got all the benefits he would have wanted and is now free...

also, the fault is mostly on the mothers who were the ones who asked him to take care of their children. If it wasn't for that he would've left before getting kicked out

Yeah, I guess the day you learn that your child is supposed to go travel the world to fight demons and protect humanity and that you used to be an S-rank adventurer, you would teach them all you know before sending them on their adventure.

But here, no. You have four teenagers who are selected by the (useless) goddess at the age of 15, who are not able to cook a meal or maintain their equipment by themselves, and they are supposed to invade the demon realm and kill the demon lord. And they are supposed to figure all things out by themselves.

Sure they have support from the Church and the different countries. They provide money or troups if asked. But do you think they would appoint knights or adventurers to teach the kids what they are supposed to do? Nope. Full YOLO strat. At this point, I'm not surprised when the hero party fails.

The whole promise of women over 30 being considered old or even repulsive is definitely strange if not completely unbelievable! Certainly some men do think that way, but do they don't have the concept of love? About the revenge,Ceres attitude is the normal here! Yeah,they took advantage of him, treated him poorly but that's more or less all! And now the mothers want to take revenge on their teenage daughters for a precocious kid because he was kind towards them and it's seeing them as beautiful! Don't get me wrong, I was ALWAYS a MILF guy! But the plot(if we can even call it plot) is forced, just to give Ceres a MILF harem made of his ex party members mothers!

My only complaint about this manga is the very long release schedule the author is keeping. Otherwise I am thoroughly enjoying this. Ceres the motherfucker. Peak fantasy hands down.

Also to the people spouting nonsense that this is NTR: So far Ceres went with Shizuko who was a slave therefore not considered married anymore (her hubby gave her to the slaver trader duh), Haruka who he got permission and blessings from her now officially ex-hubby and he's about to get permission or flat out buyout Mel's and Maria's mums. Why is this NTR??? Do you guys even understand what NTR means?

A good balance of fan service and story in this one. Shizuko and big sis both have a nice backstory and relationship to MC. They are both smokin' hot and my picks for a scolding. The other two are good in the mix but hopefully there's still an 80%+ story component with 4 in the harem, escpecially given the monthly releases. Parallel Paradise really dropped off when it started to go with multi-chapter orgies in favor of story.
