At the very least, here the banishment is justified: the ladies honestly wished for Jin to not be present for the most dangerous of their battles.
I don't think it's justified at all because I can't see this being a plot point that comes up very much from now on. The story is likely going to shift toward being focused on the girls going after Jin, and the whole 'defeating the demon lord' thing will largely be an afterthought.
My entire point is that the whole 'MC being kicked out of the party' trope feels utterly pointless in this type of story because it's more than likely not going to be the main focus. At least in other stories with this trope, it's the driving point of the plot. Here, it just seems like a super lame setup to get the harem antics started.
Like, I get they kicked him out to keep him safe, but I'd vastly prefer if they picked literally any other setup for this story. The 'MC gets kicked out of the party' cliche is done to fucking death, it's god damn nauseating at this point with how overused it is.
Edit: Literally directly from this story's summary: "But soon after, the remaining party members—who swiftly defeated the Demon Lord—began showing up one after another with marriage proposals!?"
It quite literally is a lame ass setup just to get to the harem antics. Why couldn't this just be a normal party that defeats the demon lord, then after they get to the harem stuff? The 'MC gets kicked out of the party' cliche is utterly pointless in this case, outside of being a currently popular trope.
